The construction
The double. Our signature.
Every pair of Youth Movement Double Pants is built from two donor garments. Two uniforms, two pairs of vintage denim merged into one oversized silhouette. The doubling is structural, not decorative: extra pockets, layered waistbands, seams that only exist because two pieces became one.

The process
From surplus
to singular
A slow, intentional process that turns the past into something new, bold and individual.
Source vintage surplus
It starts with the search. We hand-pick authentic military surplus and vintage denim in Italy.
Dismantle
Back in the studio, each garment is taken completely apart. We study every seam, every panel, every pocket before anything is cut.
Study & pattern
Understanding how a piece was built is how we decide how to rebuild it. Patterns are drawn from the donor garments themselves, never forced onto them.
Hand reassembly
Two garments become one. Layered panels, extra pockets, a wide-leg trouser assembled entirely by hand. Because the donor pieces are never identical, no two results are either.
